Both of the story outlines have great similarities, except for that the main character’s faith differs, one had a happy ending, and such contrast. The main characters of the both stories have experienced reincarnation for the completion and contentment of their hearts with uprooted love. On the book of “I Love You Since 1892”, the main character’s story, have found contentment and happiness for at last, they have truly found the missing parts of their hearts. It’s main character which is Carmella, have been reincarnated and on her next life, their uprooted love of Juanito, was continued and lived happily ever after despite of the challenges they’ve encountered. Whereas, on the book of “Our Asymptotic Love Story”, the main character was also reincarnated but experienced a great misfortune with the guy she truly loves, they ended up parting each other’s way, a sad story after all.

      Both of the stories created a great impact on the reader’s mind. Stories that gives hundreds of lessons which you could bring until the end. It teaches right acts, and reminds us of what our past culture is. It also up brings the rich history and culture of our past ancestors of how they fought back the Spaniards and odds.
